Commission Information

Still finishing older commission orders. No new commissions right now!

General guidelines

All prices are based on 8 1/2 by 11 inch bristol cardstock to 9 by 12 inch bristol paper. Anything larger or smaller, prices are adjusted accordingly. I generally use Prismacolor and Tria markers as my coloring media. If you prefer some other media, let me know.

My process

First I need to get a good description from you regarding the artwork you want drawn. This description can be as detailed as you want. Some folks like to describe everything down to the last whisker, others like to leave details up to me. However you prefer is fine with me, too. The next step is for me to work up a sketch. I'll scan it and email it to you for your approval. Once approval is obtained, then I'll go ahead and finish your work.

Shipping and Payment

I charge $3 for shipping and handling to the US and Canada. Most of Europe and Australia are $5 for shipping and handling. Other countries might be different, just check with me. As for payment, I prefer to do either 1/2 up front, 1/2 when finished or full payment sent after the first sketch. If this is not convienent for you, please let me know and we'll work something out. I'm very easy to work with. For More info, see the Commission FAQ.

Add $10 for 2 additional characters in all price ranges... So if you want a full background commission with four characters, that would cost $60. If you wanted six in a full background pic, it would be $70.

Q. Can I have an erotic commission? How about a non-erotic one?

A. Hell Yeah to both! I like to draw all sorts of stuff... email me and ask. ;)

Q. How long will it take to finish my commission?

A. Honestly, it depends. Some I am able to finish up within a week, others a month. There have been some that have taken longer. I will stay in contact with you throughout the whole process and you can feel free to email me as much as you like about the commission.

Q. What media do you use? What are the dimensions of the work?

A. Normally, I use Prismacolor markers and pencils to color the commission. The dimensions are 8 1/2 by 11 inches on acid-free bristol cardstock. If you'd like another medium to be used or a different size, contact me and we'll work something out.

Q. How does this whole commission thing work, anyway?

A. First, you email me and ask if I can draw you something. I'll email you back and you can send me a description of what you want. This can be as detailed as you need. Some people like to let me "run with an idea." Others prefer me to stick to a specific description. I'm fine with either method. Once I have the description, I'll work up a first sketch. I'll get your approval, or maybe you'll want me to change something. I'm cool with changes (as long as you're not going crazy with it or anything). Once you like the sketch, I ink it and color it. Then I'll scan it in. I can make a hi-res scan for you, free of charge. I'll pack up your art when it's done and ship it your way once I receive final payment.

Q. When is payment due?

A. I'm pretty flexible about payment. If it's easier for you to pay all at once, then let me know. Also, please let me know how you'd like to pay and when you'll be able to pay me. Recently, I've been preferring payment either up front or after I've finished the first sketch. You can also pay me half up front and half after I've finished. Like I said, I'm flexible. I won't send any art out to you until I've received full payment.

Q. Do you have to post the commission on your site? I'd like mine to be private.

A. I don't have to post the picture. If you don't want the picture to appear on my site or anywhere else, please let me know. It's no problem at all.

Q. What types of payment do you accept?

A. For NON-ADULT work, I can accept PayPal. For all other types of drawings: NUDITY OR ADULT, I can take Moneybookers and Money Orders. Additionally, you can pay with checks and credit cards to my Paypal, Moneybookers account. If you really, really want to, you can send me well-concealed cash, but that's totally at your own risk! I don't mind Euros or other types of currency. I can exchange it no problem.

Q. How much is shipping and handling?

A. To the US and Canada, it's $3. To Europe and Australia it's $5. Other places might be different. Just ask and I'll find out. If you've ordered a con badge, Shipping is FREE.

Q. If I've ordered more than one commission, can I combine shipping and handling?

A. Of course! I always combine shipping with multiple drawings or even if you have room-mates who've ordered art from me. If you and your house-mates have all ordered art from me, you can combine shipping into one shipment, too. Just let me know. :)

Q. Are your prices in US dollars?

A. Yes, good ol' American Greenbacks. ;)

Q. Will you draw non-furry art for a commission?

A. Yes. And you can see some of my non-furry art here.

Q. Can I make changes to the sketch that you sent me?

A. Yes! I don't mind making changes. I prefer to work with you as long as it takes in order to get your vision correct. I feel that commissions are a collaboration and I like to work on them in that spirit. Please don't take advantage of this though! Most people don't... so you probably won't fall into that category. I have had folks want me to go through like 20 very different, uneccessary changes. Use common sense. If it seems reasonable, it probably is. I'm not offended about making changes. It's not a burden and I won't be insulted if you ask me to change something. Whew! Hope that made sense!

Q. I'd like to send cash, is there anything special I should do?

A. Make sure your cash is well concealed in a letter or something so that no one can tell cash is in there. Please include a small note so I know who the cash is from. Sometimes I know you better by your online persona than your real name on the return address. :)

Q. Could I use your characters in a commission?

A. Yes! My only stipulation on that is that my characters stay "in character." If I think that one of my characters wouldn't do what you'd like them to do, I'll probably say no, unless you've got a really cool backstory... :)

Q. Do you charge extra for me using your characters in a commission?

A. Hell no! Same price as always.
